What a mess that race was! And unfortunately, I was right in the thick of it! Saw crashes in every corner during the first lap, so I was taking it easy only to be taken out in the Bend by another bike in the 2nd lap - bummer of a start and end to the race weekend with an ambulance ride and broken collar bone. Will be off the bike for at least 6 weeks.
Of course, first thought that went through my head as the colliding bikes smacked me into the pavement was "ow" :banghead:
Second thought was, "With 4 kids to support, why am I doing this?"
Have already gone through the "I'm not racing anymore" to "Okay, I'll race but only F40" to "Okay, I'll race but never in the first middle weight event of a weekend" Actually, kinda stuck at that F40 only concept.
Big thanks out to the TrackAddix guys for loading up the trailer while the family followed the ambulance to the hospital - especially Mike Diller and Bill Kaizer - you guys are great! :thumb:
See you at Iowa Speedway!

Ouch. Get well soon man. F40 has less bikes, but the competition up that way (i.e. BHF) is tough!
And in GP region as well - I was hoping to show Willyz the way around the track for a change. I guess he'll have to wait till Iowa Speedway to get schooled...
I think it was that PowerStands sticker that brought you the bad juju. Take that thing off before your next race.....
