Title: Setting up an 06 R6 with a 190/55
Post by: DealsGapR6 on July 06, 2007, 09:23:16 PM
I'm going to be working on sorting out suspension with a friend of mine at his shop and am a little in the dark. I won't be doing most of the work, but I'm hoping to gather a little information on what works for others that are successfully running a 190 on this bike. Particularly ride height measurements or anything that has been discovered to be a "must do" for this type of setup would be greatly appreciated. The bike will be running Dunlop 120/70 fronts and 190/55 Ntec rears. The bike has been lowered and I am particularly interested in restoring correct geometry.

Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

depending how much its been lowered a 190 might correct it for you... what do you mean by lowered?

Stock shock length is 295mm from the center eye of both top and bottom mounting bolts.

Don't know what you mean by lowered but if the linkage has been changed then put back on the stock linkage and Graves makes a clevis that is made to compensate for the difference in ride height when running a 190.
