I looking for a good track map of Gateway. The one on their website isn't the best for the roadcourse especially for someone who's never been there.
Thanks!
its a pretty short course... on board vid might be better. Its got alot of little nuances that make it unique. Easy to learn, it can be hard to find speed without laps under your belt. Just about every turn has places you want to be... and places you definately dont want to be. From the bumps in 1, 7, 8 and 9... to the off camber section of 4...
If I had never been there, knowing what I know now... I'd be watching on board vid of someone with a few laps there. Or finding someone there to latch onto during practice.
I think I had it figured out in about 4 laps-its pretty dang easy to learn just because there are only a few corners. I know last year Tim gave me some pointers before I rolled out on the track that seemed to help.
Well, I'd appreciate any help that I can get!
Just look for the RC51 Am #99. I'll be there Saturday morning.

I'll be there, not riding... just ask for the locals where to find me and I'll help ya out with a few spots.
