So did anybody turn the 9's that were promised in June at Blackhawk?????? :pop:
... ... ... and somewhere in the distance amidst the crickets chirping, a dog howled ... ... ...
Yup, I did.
Oh wait, that's a 19.
My Bad.
Looks like the quickest according to CCS, is a 10.9
Sorry kevin, my fatass retired. Maybe when my son turns sixteen and has no fear, and is full of himself, he can do it.
BTW why dont you guys bring yur rider back out for his 2nd day at Blackhawk he can do it, and some of us "slow guys" can chuckle that guys that have been racing there for the last 6 years arent that fast. :)

I'm wearing spandex shorts right now.
My lap timer said I did a 1:07.5...unfortunately the posted times said much, much different :lmao:
Unfortunately I didn't get the chance yet. My engine was in shipping to the shop. I've got it in now & my next ride is at Road America again.
The best time I saw was by Johnson with a 10.9 I believe. Brian Hall's best was a 11.1.
Hmmm. conditions were better but times were slightly slower?
Brian's shoulder is still huring from his Road America crash I know for sure.
No competition driving the times down?
I can't wait to ride there next time in July i think.
Plus I have to redeem myself from my screw up at Road America. I shooting for the box at ASRA round at Elkhart.
Wish me some luck!
Good job by Booby Fong at Road America! :thumb:
See you guys at the next round!

Naw, the track was much more green this past round compared to Mother's Day weekend. The weather was perfect but there was nowhere near the rubber on the track.
Whatever! Weather conditions were perfect all weekend. It rained Sunday morning prior to me doing 10's only 2hrs after that!
What do you consider green? Dust?
My ZX6R is green enough for me.

I guess when I say green I consider how much weather has played a role in the near past, just before the event. The most recent CCS weekend the track was pretty clean from some recent heavy rains in the weeks prior. I don't think too many TD orgs had a chance to put any rubber down for us. Yup, the weather was perfect-not too hold or cool. Just perfect for a motor.

Didnt KH say, not long ago, that you could never do a 1:09? Thought I remebered that, something like Ortega couldnt find a 9 if it bit him in the nose, or ortega couldnt turn a 9 if his life depended on it, something along those lines. I could be wrong, but probably not. Good job this weekend Dan, it was fun watching you and robbie fly, your styles are so different it was really entertaining. Robbie looks like he is running 5's while you look like your running 15's (no insult intended, you are just uber smooth in your brake/throttle/bike inputs). In the end you were both flat flying, congrats on the lap times and finishes.
not KH...

Dan couldn't do a flat 10 if he fell out of a 747...

I knew this was going to brought up again.
Where's my popcorn???
Oh snap. Dan, it was great watching you and Jensen. I honestly expected no one to be with him, so it was great to see you hanging with him lap after lap! Nice work!

Huh, guess I was wrong, it wasnt KH of four and six, it was just four and six who said DanO couldnt hang.
