Sweet:
6.14.07 > Laptimes Now Available Via the Web <
ASRA/CCS is pleased to announce a new way to retrieve your laptime via the Web. With the help of CCS Racer Scott Myers, this site will allow you to access each race and get laptimes either by single rider or all riders laptimes.
This feature is only available for the events run on the Westhold system (Summit Point, Blackhawk Farms, Daytona, Heartland Park, Barber, Roebling Road, Homestead, Moroso, Jennings GP and the Shenandoah Circuit.) Follow this link (Click Here) to the new webpage.

Ok, I like that.
And did I read that you can get those via a wireless signal at the event too? It was on the mailer.

Yes sir you can download the program onto your laptop and as long as you are within 650 feet I think from the tower you can get live laptimes and scoring.

It's not pretty, but it's a work in progress. Please be patient with me!

his wife charges by the hour... :spank:
thanks again for all the hard work Scott!! :thumb:
now if your turning 5's at GIR we'll have to have a talk... :ass:
very cool
Awesome, Thanks for all the hard work!
damn now even I know i'm slow.naturally the race I won before my year ending crash is not on there. this is really neat stuff though
I'm sure this is a strech but is it streamed live while the event is going on ? or compliled after the event and uploaded ?
Either way it is sweet! I figured it was only a matter of time before one of us computer nerds got into this, after I saw the timing and scoring on the CCS web page.
:thumb:
thats pretty bad ass dude
Scott, that is really cool. Thanks for all you've done to make it happen.
Scott..... excellent work. :thumb:

Times are streamed live at the track over the live scoring you can view with a wireless enabled laptop.
As for the website, I'm sure they are compiled and uploaded after the fact.
and they said it couldn't be done :ahhh: ::)
Great job....I'm excited :thumb:
Works great... :thumb: But now everyone can see how slow I really am :banghead: :lmao:
Thanks Scott, its awesome and easy to read, love the simplicity!
Thanks guys. It will get better as time goes on.
Also, it's not blatantly obvious, but on the laptime screen, you can sort the data by clicking on the header of whatever column you want to sort. Click it again to sort in the opposing direction. This makes it easy to see the laptimes from quickest to slowest and vice versa.
Anyone want the ability to export the times?
Thanks for doing such great work and getting them up so promptly.

For the record. Once the system is up and running with no errors, the CCS employees at the race (or office) will be responsible for getting the times up at the track.
If the track has internet access, the could get the times up as soon as the race(s) are over and they have time to do so.
this will work great daytona we won't have to wait for the carrier pigeon to bad it won't tell us race results

Theoretically, I could keep track of the overall times for each competitor during the race and determine the placings, but sometimes the file contains both am and expert riders with no way to differentiate them. So that would make it impossible to do. Maybe in the future I can get consistant data in the files. Even then, it might not be the "official" finishing positions due to things such as protests and such.
this stuff is real news to us in fl with this being our first year with transponders thanks
No lies on whose running what lap time now!
There seams to be some missing times from Heartland Park on Sat. LWSB & LWF40. Any ideas?
to slow to show up on the computer would be my first guess

System is set up to collect data in Hours, Minutes and Seconds.
Ability to calculate days and weeks will be in version 2 which can be viewed at - 8DaysAWeek.com
Westhold system is a welcomed addition. Super awesome and I noticed that even the practice times are available via WiFi. Gridding by lap times is a very real possibility! Time will tell. (No pun intented.)
wish they could get the light weight times up the kids are tired of draging the sundial out of the trailer.
The CCS site says that we can use a wireless laptop at the track with the possible exception of Road America and Daytona. Any idea if it will work at RA this weekend?
at RA the internet connection and computer system was on the fritz here and there for Fri and Sat when I was racing there.
Sure hope it went smoother for Sunday races though.......
