SWING BY THE TRAILER AT GATEWAY SAT. EVENING AFTER THE RACES

I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO BRING A LOT OF CHEESECAKE.

I CAN'T SELL IT BUT A $1.00 DONATION TO THE RED FLAG FUND PER PIECE WOULD BE OOBER COOL.

Does this mean Dave will have to save those dollars he normally gives to the strippers?

Wow, he likes CheeseCAKE.

The definition of a pie is "A pie, similar to a tart, is baked in a pie pan that has sloping sides. Both a tart and a pie can have the crust prebaked and filled or baked with fruits, custards or chocolate."

This is from Baking911.com

I'm going with cake, but it is in a pie crust, and that makes it confusing. Could you bring some down south so we can debate it over a peice or twelve?

You know what? If you do bring cheesecake, make sure you bring enough for everyone, or the race director might have to take drastic action...

if you look at a cheesecake cook book it has cheese cakes that are made in pie tins and and are called pies which taste just like cheese cake

i think enetmens or what ever the cake company is called makes a cheese cake pie
so i would say its both cake or pie depending on who makes it

i still say it's a pie.

'A cheesecake is a sweet, cheese-based dessert. The combination of its crust and filling (typically containing eggs, cream, and a soft fat like cream cheese) make it a closer relative of custards like buttermilk pie or creme brulee than of a traditional cake, and in fact it is classified as a pie (and not a cake). The first recorded mention of cheesecake was during the ancient Grecian Olympic games in the occidental world. Cato the Elder wrote of cheesecake preparation in his farming manual "De Agri Cultura".

Cheesecakes can be made of ricotta cheese, havarti, quark, twaróg, or, more usually, cream cheese. Other ingredients such as sugar, eggs, cream and fruit are often mixed in as well. Flavorings such as vanilla or chocolate may be added, and a fruit topping, like strawberries, is frequently added. Typically, the cheese filling or topping covers a crust, which may be pastry, cookie, digestive biscuit or graham cracker-crumb. Sometimes the base is a layer of cake.'

Anybody ever heard of a 'digestive biscuit'?
