Who is running the track day at Summit on Sat 26 and how much does it cost? Thanks
http://marrc.nova.org/html_docs/news07/2007_Track_Day.html
That week there are track days Thurs, Fri, and Sat. and then racing Sun, and Mon! :thumb: Too bad I have this thing called a job and the boss expects me to do work and stuff.
So no Thurs, and Fri track days for me, Sat will have to do...
See you all there.
The MARRC day on Sat is a good price. Pre registration is $100 for non member and $80 for people already members!!
 I will be there for the Sat. practice. Can't wait. Need the practice :err: After being away from the track for two years my lap times really :jerkoff: But after the last race weekend at Summit i feel like my batteries are getting charged back up.
Thank you for the info, hope to come on sat but I will wait till the day before, I am not racing in the rain there I dont care how cheap it is :ahhh:
I'll be there too, pitted across from pin-in. Look for me! I'll be taking more pics too, and as always free!

Its looking like a crazy weather weekend too!
Oh yeah and good luck fighting for Pirelli tires too.
Its not looking good.
what's the problem getting Pirelli's? I miss something?
The weather does not look to bad 30% on Sat and 20% chance on Sunday I am starting to get stoked

No problem as long as you want the Supercorsa Pros instead of the new Diablo Supercorsas. No one has them, and no one knows when they'll be getting more. I run Pirelli's but I'm starting to wonder why. They're stupid expensive, but at least they're impossible to get.
whew...running the SC Pros..and i'll be needing a set after the track day

They had plenty of the new tire at the last CCS round

Not anymore
Yeah I tried to order some a week in advance and still no luck.
And if we get some nice weather for Sunday and Monday I bet we can see some nasty novice lap times.
I sure wish someone would have posted up that the event was going to sell out. Luck me a guy wanted to give up his spot so after waiting for 2 hours I did make it on the track. Big thanks to Rick Biggs and crew :thumb:
For future info, the event before a pro weekend has sold out for the past 4 years that i have been doing it.
For next year it has been suggested that we charging more money, but selling only half as many spaces, that will give us more clean track time. Feel free to chime in on this if you have an opinion, privately or on line.
Also, was everybody happy with the groups?
I thought it was run very well, announcements were a little off but it was a good day of practice time before some good racing.
Rick...
thought you guys did a great job with the track day...
MARRC did a great job as always considering how many people were there. We really appreciate registration staying open late Friday..that's a HUGE help for us that were getting in late.
Cheap is a good thing and short sessions aren't a big deal to me especially when it's hot. I'm sure some racers would pay extra for more track time or to have less people on the track.
The quick 5-6 lap sessions were all I needed to dial in suspension and get a feel for how the bike was going. Exactly what a race practice should be used for.
