Title: Summit Pt this weekend, bike ready?
Post by: chaplain220 on May 02, 2007, 03:33:55 PM
Two weeks of labor and still the GSXR needs more lovin.  Rewelded the frame, replaced the clutch lever, bent the shift rod back into place, got the new bodywork, zip tied and taped the air intakes back together, forced to play with the kids for two hours or the wife was threatening physical violence :err:, bent the rear sets back in place and then broke the foot peg.  Bolted on the subrame, we all stood back and the bike is settin kinda sideways :banghead:.  Heated the subframe, bent it back in shape, forced to play with wife for two hours or yet again physical violence would erupt 8), ordered and installed new front fairing bracket and intake screens.  Found the wires that were still smoldering from heating the subframe. (put them out with some contact cleaner)...Anyhow point is, #220 will ride this weekend, watch out for falling parts and dont even think about missin chapel service.  Art.

Oh yeah Lowman, like we're supposed to believe you played with your wife for two whole hours. Didn't you dislocate the pelvic area in Florida?
