I was browsing the other boards and found a post on cmraracing.com from David Hirsch who is the Michelin guy in Texas. He indicated that you have to register online with Michelin to get paid. I'm not sure if this applies to CCS, but I would think it would. I went ahead and registered, and would suggest you look into it. Here is the link to the registration:

If I got a card in the mail for 07 does that mean I'm registered?
If you click on rules on that site, it list this:
Competitors will be issued an AMA Pro Bonus Awards Visa Debit card from XBux. This card will be updated electronically after each win regardless of series. The AMA Pro Bonus Awards Visa Debit card from XBux can be used at any ATM or merchant that accepts VISA
Contingency will be paid via XBux.com to the AMA Pro Bonus Awards Visa Debit card
To me, it sounds like they have exercised their right to change to the terms and conditions of the program, so I'd say register.
you have to register every year as well.. the old cards are out, and you now get a Visa debit card. You can check the balance online rather than have to insert the card in a card reader like the old ones..
I was informed of the change but you cannot get cash out on the CCS race issued card that is only for AMA event contingency.
My understanding was only the Michelin form needed to be turned in once a year but just in case go ahead and register it will most likely speed up getting you in the sysytem.
Becka sounds like she received a 07 card anyone else? Greg?
I received my card and used it at Topeka. I haven't done any regestering (or winning of contingency) yet....
got credit on my 06 card last month ?

How did you use an 07 card if you haven't won any contingency yet? This contingency stuff confuses me!

I'm just cool like that. LOL! I believe it was a roll over from 06. Call and see what you have credited on your card.
Ok, I'm really confused..... I received my Michelin card and went to www.swiftgift.com and everything seems fine.... Then I go to the Xbux website and it's Michelin, but makes no reference to swiftgift.com????
I still have a balance from last year and my new Michelin Visa Debit card doesn't expire until 05/08, so I would think I'm good? If anyone figures it out, please let us all know.
Thanks,
kurt

Yup, I got one. Can't say if it is an old parallel program or the same thing, but I guess registering is now mandatory anyway? I just bought from Tommy and filled put the contingency stuff at the track in the past...
Not sure but I think that this is only if your signed up with this XBUX thing?
It's kind of like sponsorhouse but if you sign up they send you a visa when you get your first payout or something like that. They don't even list CCS races on their event list, and CCS is not on their promoters list. :jerkoff:
So do I still fill out the one time sheet from tech? How do all you Michelin riders get your cards?
I got my tires from a trackside vender filled out sponsorsheet gave it to tech every time and still nothing :banghead: Not even a ( hey glad you use are tires, thanks :lmao:
So what do I do?????
I just got in a letter today... Even if you received your Swiftgift card that has a balance on it for 2007 you still have to register online with XBUX....
Hmmmm.... I registered tonight and still haven't received an email. Did you get an email confirmation right away?

I did the same, no email yet. What do you do with the swiftgift card? Do they send new xbux cards?
No email notification yet.... I suggest keeping a spreadsheet of your finishes to keep track and dot your I's and cross your T's on the forms. In past years, Michelin has been very good. I've no doubt they'll come through, but keep track just in case.
Okay Xbux contacted me this week. There is a major change and you must register at Xbux (http://xbux.com/michelin/) with your name exactly as it appears on your license. Also you need to be sure Michelin is listed as a sponsor for you as there will be no gray area if you want Michelin contingency Michelin must be listed as a sponsor. From my understanding most of the process will be automated on the Michelin end of things and most likely it will be electronically transmitted to them. All of this goes into effect June 1 with new cards being issued. I beleive that is for all races submitted after June 1 so all the Memorial Day weekend races will be on the new system. There will be a Visa card sent to each rider and it will be how you redeem money with the Michelin vendors. I believe they will be reloading the card once you have it in your hand as opposed to a new card for each payment.
I finally got my confimation E-Mail today...But it doesn't show anything on it...I still do not have anything from races from HPT...
got my e-mail but also got credit on the swiftgift card today!!!!! looks like the swiftcard is still active :ahhh:
I just saw the money from Heartland Park on the swiftgift card. I heard that any of the races through the end of May should be put on the swiftgift card, and anything after June 1 will be on Xbux. So sounds like MAM may be on the SG card too.
Memorial Day weekend races were submitted to Xbux yesterday.
Ok, what is this Swiftcard stuff?
HPT of this year was the 1st race ever that i got contengency at....
got my HPT $$ on my swiftcard as well!
last years contingency was paid on a swiftgift card, its a pre-paid visa :thumb:
OK...So how do you get a swiftcard? Does it just come in the mail also?
thats how it worked last year... mine is only good through 7/07 so who knows about this years $ if you dont have one
Yep I got paid on my swiftgift card but I don't think I got all the money from that weekend....? Did you guys get everything you won?
yup, all there
Crap, I think I got shafted $50. Looks like I better make some phone calls!
Doh! Nevermind. I didn't realize superbike wins were $150, not $200..
Hey Tim-how's the motor?
Needs a crank, rod, bearings, possibly an oil pump... its up in MN being worked on now.
definately spun a bearing. MIGHT have it back for GIR. Should be at Road America.
I'll have a lil work done while its cracked... should bring up the MR a bit.
Looks like Xbux is up and running! Got my card yesterday and got notice of money in my account today.
I havent seen shit on mine since Topeka...
kind of a ditto to the last two replies.
I've just got my card in the mail the other day and ,yup, no money on it.
is it possible that monies weren't issued to it that were won before the card was issued?
I recieved all my Michelin money this season on the old card until Blackhawk June 9-10, rewards from that weekend showed up on my new card.
My understanding was that the Xbus card was being used for any results starting June 1st. I did, however, get the impression that the Memorial Day weekend races might be issued on the Xbus card. I can't quite tell what's actually happening.
