Title: Carolina Motorsports Park
Post by: hardluck on April 06, 2007, 06:00:57 AM
I would just like to first say I'm knew here and from what I see so far I likes. I was wondering how many of you are going to be at the Carolina Motorsports Park on the 14th and 15th? I would like to get some firsthand information and just hangout with some of you if I could? Will lend a hand anyway I can if you need one. I would like to see if it's for me or not. At 48 years old and just thinking about starting out I know I won't ever be a big dog, and I will be keeping my puppy butt on the porch for the most part, but I think at my age its more about fun! I did some TT racing back in the late 70s; from then on it was the H-D thing. Have not ridden in the last few years and have that itch to get back in a saddle again. Just don't want to do it on the streets this time.

Hardluck...you ol fart, yeah, you can hang with us.  If ya got the guts to go for it at this age, you are welcome to join us.  We will be at Carolina.  You will find us at the CSBRacing pit, look for the 220, 751 and 973 bikes.  I guess since I'm also now eligible to race the formula 40, I can understand your need for speed.  Art.

I started back racing at the age of 41 after a long hiatus. That was 4 years ago and I am having a ball with it now. I will be at CMP, if you want to stop by and talk. Look for the #3 Ducati. Don't let your age hold you back.
