Title: Use your computer to help science/geek update
Post by: spyderchick on March 28, 2007, 01:42:20 PM
Want to help cure disease? Download a small program here (http://folding.stanford.edu/), it's a Stanford project that is studying folding proteins and their link to diseases.

When you run the program, you are donating a bit of your computer processing power to help assist in solving complex algorithms.

Want to join a team? I'm on the DLTV team # 57391

Yes, I'm a geek.

So I'm in the top 1000 of my team of almost 3000, and our team is in the top 100 contributers.

Link (http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&username=spyderchick) to my stats page.

Just bragging, über geek style.
