Matt,

If you get the chance, can you PM me?  I've got a Ducati question for you.

Tks,

Bender

Matt,

How are you doing since that crash and burn injury at Daytona. Hope your recovery is speedy and that you'll be back on track soon.

Thanks for asking Paul.  And thanks to everyone who dropped by to ask my dad how I was doing.  I've been in and out of the hospital in a couple of different states since the whole ordeal dealing with skingrafts and such.  My bike really did a number on me.  I'm mostly pissed because I can't ride or work.  I'm going nuts. :banghead:  I was having so much fun right before it happened.  Sounds familiar, huh?
You know, if I was starting to get old and slower I'd just quit riding but everytime I go out riding I just get better and better and that gives me so much satisfaction.  I was hoping to see you guys alot more last year as well but I destroyed myself early in the year in MI and did not recover until it was too late.
Did you ride in the rain?  What was that like?

Bender, you can call me any time at 248 408 9971.

Hey Matt,

Good to hear things are improving. Hopefully you'll be back at it soon. Are you planning any more MOTO-ST this season?

Racing in the rain at Daytona is always sketchy. There was standing water in a bunch of places, and it was hard to see. I hit a paint stripe on the banking and got all sideways at speed. Yikes.

Anyway, glad to hear you are making progress.

All the best,

Paul
