for anyone running Moto-ST - I read on their message board today that there are new requirements for number plate background colors....

Yeah, it kind of sucks to have to go back to yellow number plates. Makes it difficult to swap around bodywork.
Combined MOTO-ST/CCS practice will be interesting.
Are we now considered "yellow plated sand baggers"?? Say it ain't so!!
You are...
LOL!
What does that mean if I have blue?
light blue....where did they come up with THAT???
Might be related to the Grand Am rules.
Honestly, I'm appreciative of a rules structure that is not necessarily just following what everyone else is doing.

Bullshit. Mods can edit my profanity, but I'm fucking pissed.
Last year, we received e-mail when there was a rule change.
I talked with Colin and Rodger several times over the winter, and the only rule change talked about, was the fuel capacity.
I think it's a good idea, to have different color number plates. It's more for the TV viewer, and spectators.
Using the Moto-St message board is like talking to yourself.
Both CCS and WERA announce such changes on their board.
Would it be that difficult to do that on Moto-St's?
I spent a shitload of time and money painting my bodywork, now I have to repaint 2 sets!
I feel for you...I won't edit...
wonder how many bikes wont make it through tech @ datona for having wrong color plates...
the lack of communication from MOTO-ST for this subject on the board/e:mail is why I posted the link here...knowing a bunch of us have bikes entered or know people who do.

Just make sure you back me up during the riders meeting.
I'm sure the Grand Am car teams are not treated like this.
No prob....we're in same garage as #427 Helmbach......he's one of the riders on the Moto-ST team....
