If she's asking you to cook dinner during the Superbowl, I suggest a new girlfriend...

Well, I'm making southern fried chicken and green bean casserole....

Yesterday we had mashed potatoes, roasted turkey, gravy and veggies....

The weekends are the only time I have to cook.

Dawn

P.S.  Renee made a devils food cake with walnuts and frosting with chocolate chips.  (It's a good thing we've been working all those calories off)

Simple...

Make something that you're good at making.  You don't want to try something new when you're trying to impress your girl.  Make anything.  She'll be happy that you put the effort into it.

Gotta go..

Right now only the Colts.  Bears should've stayed home.  :banghead:

Fortunately nothing!  I was tempted to try to clean up on my cohorts at work by betting on the Colts, but it would have been too easy.  Besides, I cleaned up the last time the Cubs looked like they might actually win something and everyone in Chicago got all jiggy.

Thanks Bartman.

If you want to impress... Steak Diane.  Look up the recipe on the internet.  It is not too difficult and delicious.

I spent yesterday making black bean soup and pea soup. Then I made ribs with homemade BBQ sauce for din din.

Make her some shrimp with melted butter and lemon. Buy the fresh ones, boil for 3 minutes, serve with artisanal bread with real butter, and a nice salad. throw in her fav liquid libation, and you are a hit. Almost no real cooking involved.
