Yeah, check it out. I was here until 2PM, leave to go get groceries. (I lead such a glamorous life) Get a call from the landlord 3 hrs later that a car hit the shop. Nice. So much for a peaceful evening. Roger's boarding it up right now.

Now offering drive through severice.
COuld had been worse.
I hope he didn't run over my leathers... :ahhh:
was Guy driving??
bash & grab shoppers!
OK, you rent the place but Roger is boarding it up? Why wasn't the landlord doing that? You guys should have been drinking a beer and watching him...............
Did they hit and run? or fess up? Did they leave my leathers there?I got 9 lives, how many (sp) anacrophobes get? Sounds like you used up some bad luck-can only get better from here on-
What part of the building is that? Did you catch the idiot? Was any of your stuff damaged? At least you rent.
Some guy did it, but it wasn't Guy.
They didn't take anything, all leathers are safe and accounted for. The nice chickie police officer hung around until I got there.
And Roger boarded it up because my landlord apparently doesn't get his hands dirty.
It could have been worse, so I find myself feeling more lucky than unlucky.

Probably the same reason I get up on the flat roof of my shop and tar up the leaks instead of my land lord... i want it done right and he won't do it when it needs to get done
I guess it's that time of year. Here's the call I took at work (Im' a 911 dispatcher) yesterday from my fire fighters at station 19 in oshkosh...

Car made it completely through the brick building, and rested in the fire fighter's lounge area which they had just been sitting about 10 minutes before.
And this is about 3 weeks after we just had a car go through a window at Mr. Cinder's in Oshkosh, landing inside the dinning room which was full of people. Thankfully no one was hurt then either. I'll see if I can drum up a photo of that one too.

Yeah, if they would have done that, I would have been sleeping at the shop until workers got there Monday to fix it.
Yup, definitely more lucky than unlucky.
As promised here is a photo from a car crashing into Mr. Cinders. Alexa, glad everything will be ok! I hate people that don't own up to their own mistakes though. Thats assuming the guy that hit your building was no where to be found.

They got the dudes info, so the building owner's insurance can handle it.
Cool thing that came of it was when the owner came to check out the damage, he was very impressed with what we've done to the interior. The place was a bit dumpy when we moved in, and now it's almost chic. If need to stay another year, i have a feeling I've just gotten a bit of bargaining power.

At which point I would have checked my gauges, (all twelve of them) and driven up to keep you company....
Final score: K3 one, Looters double-0.
Apparently the guy misunderstood your earlier open invitation.... :lmao:
