Title: Florida race schedule

I have 2 schedules for the Florida series 07. One lists Daytona (march) and one does not. Is Daytona part of the points chase for this series or can I skip it until I see how the rest of the season pans out? If things go well (top 5) by the end of the season I will do the ROC. Just looking to save a little $$$ as the first 4 or 5 races are packed close together and I don't want to be any more poor than this sport already makes me.

The March Daytona is a points race for the Florida region.
