Since it appears a lot of racers on the expert upgrade list will be petitioning to stay amateur, I thought we should start a thread that will help those who are planning to write letters. So here ya go...post up your top reasons/excuses to stay yellow another season-
1. I'd really like to utilize the new CCS yellow color chart.
1. I still need to learn how to launch.
2. I still need to learn where to grid.
I'm too short to be expert, I'll bump next year after my growth spurt.
1) I suck.
2) My bike won't look good with white plates.
3) Ed Key says I'm not ready.
4) I don't know what shade of white is acceptable.
I wrecked all of my white plated bodywork and in order to save money I will be putting the yellow plated bodywork on and running in the scary 600 class.

There is almost always a Henderson and/or Skloss each year!

Good one...those two were stoopid fast yella platers :thumb:

Every year? Must be big familes! :ahhh:

Just show 'em...

With Henderson and Skloss moving up I just might win some races. There I said it. :)
Sit down and figure out how to develop something...better handling or start riding better. Every year, there are new guys. Some of them are fast out of the box as real amateurs.
McCay, Stumpy, Feuerstaller, Chascare (sp), Hall, Thornton(s), etc.
Yeah, I'm not on my accounting computer where I could pull his name.
To be fair over the same time period, Feddersen, Skloss, Heberling, Clemments, Wendl, Boyd(s)
Yoder, Clark, Wilson, Milroy...

Agreed, but not over the same time period as previously posted.
I think the Boyd's are from an earlier tom too.
Regardless, new year, the amateur gig becomes wide open. New players sometimes stun the ones that ruturn.

There's a lesson for Timmay right there! ;)
I wet myself if I go into turn 1 too deep
If you're good enough to get the bump to expert. . . take it.
The super fast amateurs that petitioned to stay yellow are pathetic sandbaggers. ::) I don't understand the "feel good" by beating the inexperienced.
Why stop at roadracing?!
Join a little league baseball team, junior football league or heck just hang out at the mall and be "cool". You're cool, right? I mean you can drive and probably even buy beer. . . right stud? :jerkoff:

That's not me in the pic, I think it's Weaver before we cleaned him up and got him off the streets and gave him something productive to do like starting CCS races, although he still stops by the pit asking for beer. I am looking forward to my shiny new white plates. If Skloss is gonna whuup me, I'm at least gonna start from the first wave with him.
I just want to sandbag to win contingency.
Oh wait I mean, I feel I'm a danger to myself and those around me.
Ah well cats out of the bag, guess I'm moving to expert.

Dear Dean,
Please permanently paint 181 on the Meatball number board. We'll just cover it up for the races that Randy doesn't enter.

I'm still working on my sandbagging angle.
Still my personal favorite, please feel free to photoshop your favorite sandbagger's photo in place of the workers

I was on the fence, few good finishes, starting to get confident, passes still need some work but then my employer heard and decided to put the kybosh on the white plate thing......

Wow! Thanks Dave. I didn't think you noticed.
(I know you weren't talking about me) :(
Stop sand bagging and get out! so I can maybe win for once. 5th place is nice and all, but 1st sure sounds better when you bench race all your buddy's :thumb:

Call it the Kramer syndrome. Except those 10 year old karate green belts will eventually gang up on you!!
