and I'm already going through RWD (racing withdrawl disorder). :ahhh: What do you do all winter????
Freshen up the motor, machine parts and make carbon fiber components to make the bike lighter. I always have more projects than time to finish them. I still get withdrawals.
Polish your wheels!!! :thumb:
Working my backside off to pay the credit card bills racked up this season so I can afford to pay for next season. Trying to block off my calendar with every race date, AMA event, etc... before my wife plans anything.
In KC we race little dirtbikes..

My place smells the same way, my wife does not like it too much. Working with carbon fiber is the same process you use to make fiberglass. Make mold, wax mold, brush or spray gel coat in mold, wait 20 min, lay fabric, roll resin on fabric.
i thought carbon fiber had to be baked?
how do you get the molds?
i would love to be able to do that sort of thing at home.
if it would be easier, pm me some info and/or you #.
