Nice, right between a sewage treatment plant and a landfill. Just don't crash and fly into one of the inner track ponds. Creative use of land though. I like the helicopter pad myself.

We need your input and support to determine the need for a dedicated Road Course as a part of the Phase 1 construction.
Current plans include at least a 1.5 mile course with a drivers meeting and training building. Final course layout has not been established. Please note the dedicated Road Course is shown in the irregularly shaped blue area. The additional non-dedicated bonus track is shown as the red lines on the site plan.
If an additional feature such as a phase 2 track lighting project is important, we need to know about that also.

Cheaper if you're buried in the landfill....
The track will be where the landfill was if I heard right. I work with a couple guys that live there, I need to go track they done.
that is a horrible land development plan...whoever that architect/engineer is does not know their ass from a hole in the ground. residential lots within the same "parcel" of land...yeah that will fly well when the noise complaints start rolling in
Holiday Inn and a couple food places have bought ground already. I would build there if I get on the anytime I wanted.
Those are for residences? I thought they'd be for shop/cribs for rich guys to hang out in like at Autobahn.

I thought it was sheep but now you bring it up there was a lot goats tied up a round there. It will be the easies track to get to, if it is built.
With all the settling problems they have at Heartland Park causing the track to crack like it does, I can only imagine what it would be like on or near a landfill, talk about unstable ground! We have an old landfill here that's now a golf driving range driving at and up the hill, even though that hill is covered in grass it has the texture of a crumpled up ball of aluminum foil from all the settling going on! (that landfill's been closed my entire life and it's still settling quite a bit!)
Holy wow! Everything from the website to the drawn plans are complete shite! I heard membership is $5, and a prime real estate lot by the sewage plant is well over a hundred dollars! :lmao:

Minonk is only about 30 miles north of me. This has been talked about for about 3-4 years around here. Different updates make the newspaper from time to time. What I do know is that the village of Minonk is behind the project and as of the last update earlier is summer, the holdup is financing.
I've driven past the site where it is proposed. The site is wide open on a slight grade. Maybe something comparable to Gingerman?? I'll try to post an update on anything I see in the local news.
If this track is built it would sure be nice to see CCS go there. I get real tired of Blackhawk after about the 4th weekend there.
