Title: Ougage 11/4

Sorry about that!

We lost the data center:

Power cuts strike Western Europe
Power cuts have struck several countries in Western Europe, leaving millions of people without electricity.

Power companies said the outage started in Germany with a surge in demand prompted by cold weather, and then spread to other parts of Europe.

Some five million people in France lost power, mainly in the east of the country and including parts of Paris.

"We weren't very far from a European blackout," a senior director with French power company RTE said.

Pierre Bornard told the French news agency AFP that two German high-voltage transmission lines failed, causing problems across western Europe.

This triggered a "house of cards" style system breakdown, he said.

Automatic security systems cut supplies to some customers to avoid a complete blackout.

Italy, Belgium and Spain were also affected by the power cuts.

Most electricity supplies were restored within two hours of the outage, and so far no injuries or accidents have been reported.

Fire brigades in France said they had to answer several calls from people stuck in lifts.

High speed rail links were also disrupted.

It's not a module to maintain. SMF auto picks it up if it's compiled into PHP

It's a matter of installing pspell and configuring it in PHP.  Does no one know how to spell anymore?

Hang tight, I'll get it installed this week...

what r u talking about? i spell reel good. <------------------it missed a few.

reel is a real word, so it missed that, and it can't do puctuation and capitalization. Oh well, it will only work if the poster takes the time to use it anyhow, but I like it! :thumb:

Nice work man.......I love some SMF. :)

I can't wait till they come out with a 1.1 final so I can start doing some more perm mods to my site.

it'll never be a final load.  So long as there are users, there will be fixes.  Just do your mods and keep upgrading.  It's not that hard to keep updated even with mods.  In fact some of the later updates to SMF make entering the mods much easier.

When I first started with SMF, it was ungodly difficult to add a button.  you'd have to edit half a dozen PHP files, and not knowing php it could get difficult.  now, it's simple...

Oh I know it will never been final. I've just been waiting for 1.1 official before I try some theme changes and making sure mods work.

Great software though, so much better than phpbb.
