Question two of many from an old man.
I have not been to Daytona since they did over the pit area, is there power outside the garage area for tire warmers?
And is there enough to go around (for everyone) OR is it every man/woman for themselves. And how relievable is it (Poped circuit breakers) people unpulging your cord that kind of thing?
Thanks for any info.
J
The only guarenteed power is in the garages, and running extension cords from the garages to the paddock is not allowed.
Best plan is if you are just parking/pitting in the paddock, bring your generator.
What about on pit lane-is the track supplied power?
There are outlets on pit lane at each pit stall. How much amperage/circuits I don't know.

This spring I got stuck in the big parking lot outside the garage area, and was able to hook up RV to a 30amp outlet on pole adjacent to shed, but it's a crapshoot.
Sure wish I could get to ROC myself, but committed to the AHRMA event at Barber that weekend :wah: Next year, I'll be back.
MZ720, old man (?) If you're not over 60, then you're not the oldest MZ racer  When you're ready to supersize the 720:

I don't run an MuZ anymore but loved the bike and won The LW sportsman race in 2000 at the R.O.C. on it! Sold it and that bike ended up winning there three more championships at Daytona. Looking forward to this years races and then its time to play golf or drag racing??? Not sure, but putting road racing down for awhile. :blahblah: thats also what I said at the end of 2000.
