Bridgestone just came out with a BT-002-PRO tire in the 180 size.  They have had it in a 190 for a few months.  That tire was designed with a stiffer sidewall to promote longer life in the tires.  I have one mounted up, but never got out on it due to rain.

The regular 002's, I'm getting 3 sprints and a GTO on (as well as practices).  After that, I start sliding around the 1:14 lap pace at BHF.

From my perspective, they last as long as any other tire out there.

Fronts, figure 1 front for every 2 - 3 rears.

Give them a try.  Worst case, you don't like them and sell the takeoffs for $75 or more.

Just make sure you're getting the new 002-pro tires.  The rear should be a 2006 production run, and front should be like mid-year 05 at the oldest.  The City Garage Racing guys (present in the midwest region) will hook you up.
