Okay, I am newbie. So you all know the excitment coming. New to the trackday bit since last year, and just yesterday on 9/9/06 I am a newbie to this race thing.. Oh boy.. Talking about a heart-pump!! On a scale of 1 to 10, it was a 50!! :thumb:
I did two races. at Summit Point Main. One was the over 40 bit, can't remember the other one, but I did that one too. I had my shirt on and it seems like all the riders, experts and amatuers gave me extra room..I thought this was dog eat dog!! I think everybody knew they had a 65 year old floating around on the track, so they all gave me extra room. Well, it was much appreciated, and I almost wet myself from joy...
I would be doing a race today, but I am gearing up for WERA next weekend at Summit Point..Going to both days..
Life is dam sweet, and I ain't gonna grow up..

Nah, nothing broke this time, the 600rr and me were real cool!! :thumb: Slowest on the track, but cool!!
I think that was turn 8 where I busted my wheels, and turn 10 where I crashed at a couple months ago. Well, let me tell ya, everytime I went throught turn 8, and turn 10, I feel a little edgy!! But, I think that is natural and it should wear off as I pile up some more track/race time..
:thumb:
Congrats and Welcome! I saw you out there this weekend... no one would have guessed you were 65!
Great job! See you this weekend.

Rock on old man! Glad to hear you got out there and put down some races. It's an experience unlike anything else...
(and I forget if you were the oldest on the 600rr forum or if it was somebody else... regardless, live the dream. That's what it's all about...)
