Man I thought trackdays were fun....until I tried racing. I was in my first race this weekend at Gateway and I have to say I will definately be back to racing. I finished 5th in the AM GTO and took my times from squeaking out 1:17's the weekend before to consistant 1:14's. In fact my two fastest laps of the race were the last two laps! I'm not where near the FAST guys but I was still having fun. Thanks Tstruyk, speedballer347 (now with yellow plates :lmao:), and pimpdaddy for the encouragement :thumb:
glad you made it out and had a great time Danno...
When is your next race? Hastings? MAM? ACC?
Congrats a great first weekend!
Awesome man! Gonna head out to any other rounds??
-Nick
You need to try and make Hastings a new this season a clean plate for everyone.
unfortunately the rest of the race season is marred with weddings :jerkoff: I'll only be on the track one more time this season :wah:
But it is at barber with stt
I will definately be planning my weekends around races instead of trackdays next year
Hey spooner, hows it going. Had a blast racing with you in the lw classes. I was on the black and blue am plates sv. Ha, we spent probably 12 out of 16 laps together laps together. Made it alot more fun having someone to ride with.
1:12's on an SV! Ben you were flying!!!!
Becka you were flying yourself, I've been cashing your SV all season and have not even gotten close enough to say hi.

Great job Dan!
You EARNED 4th, as I was only in that race due to some licensing issues (forced to race amatuer) on Saturday, which I was able to rectify on Sunday (expert).
You did DY-NO-MITE 8)
It's the "fast pink" duct tape. Stuff takes 2 seconds off your lap times.
I'll go buy some of that Magic Duck Tape before Hastings.

sandbagger... :spank:
good on you for pushing the bump! :thumb:
thanks becka, someone must have put some of your duct tap inside my bodywork or something, i wanted that 11 but couldnt justify pushing anymore than I had too. great job by you too, 3 podiums, consistency wins championships.
Kevin here. Ugly yellow SV. Ben you flying. Missed the 11's by a few hundreths. Way to go. I hit an 11.9 in LWGP. Too bad Jamie Hall done a few 11.0's. We were .5 apart at the finish. What a fun race! Becka, put a camera on your bike.
