Title: Paging Ed Key
Post by: spyderchick on August 30, 2006, 03:40:43 PM
Check this: New Opel GT (http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-2007-Opel-GT.htm)

I think it's the same car as the Soltice and Skye.

I know. Rog called to tell me to check it out. I like the new GM sports cars, but they have absolutlely no relationship to the  classic Opel GT.

Mazda's got another sports car coming out as well, that they might name the "Rx7". It's got the inline 4 that Miatas are running. To me, if you're going to put "R" in the designation, it must have a rotary power plant.

Bit of warning about the Sky and Solstice. I sat in one at the Saturn dealer in Rockford. I had to crawl out of the car since its so damn low. Feels like sitting in a bumper car at Great America.

You.....  complaining about low?   :err:

Aren't you low to the ground already?

Could you imagine if I had to get out of a car like that?   Nah, I wouldn't have a problem with my long legs... I'm pretty flexible.  Imagine Paul or K3.  LOL!

Hey, we love our rotarys!  :err:  :ass:  Just for that, you don't get to ride in the Rx7 or the Opel. (not that you would want to, I think your knees would be on your eyebrows for the entire ride!

Not if he tries to ride in an Rx7  The suspension is nice and stiff, we may need a crow bar to get him out, though.
