Post by: Pimpdaddy on August 09, 2006, 11:35:43 AM
Hi everyone I am new to the site. I am going to start racing CCS on labor day and found out I need a belly pan for my Buell XB12. If anyone knows of a Belly pan I can purchase new or used preferably since I will probley go to a full faring this winter .Thanks

Contact Mark Bernard, (Buell391 on this board) I heard he owns quite a few of them...

Also, I believe you can find an answer at the bottom of this thread:

If this is Pimpdaddy from the STL area get ahold of Dave Myers.

You may already know him..... Expert #12 races a Buell and I believe his business warehouse is in Granite City.  He's the Wynn's distributor for Southern Ill.  He's a great guy and probably be more than willing to help steer you in the right direction!

But then again Buell 391 is a good resource too as he does have a lot of experience in reattaching bellypans to Buells on a daily, sometimes hourly basis! :kicknuts:

Although he hasn't had much of a problem with his new Buell.  Guess that could be attributed to him never running more than 2 or 3 laps in a row this season! :kissy:

Oh and with Buells its a good idea to safety wire all teh mounting bolts for the belly pan. They do vibrate a but.

Apparently, Rob has looked in the back of Tommy Mason's truck when Edgar is "sleeping" in there....
