Title: Applying for race license?
Post by: gkotlin on July 27, 2006, 11:44:53 PM
I took a school with team chicago this past april.  I was told I just send that with my application to the organization of choice to register for a provisional race license.

Should I send this paperwork in to the address on the forms?  Is it possible and easier to just bring it to the event I want to run in and have it handled at the site?

Is there a list of numbers that I can see what numbers may be available, just in case all my choices are taken?

Thanks

Might be in your best interest to contact CCS direct on the Team Chicago program.  I thought that WERA recognized it for their licensing, but you shouldn't assume that it is recognized by CCS.

Talk to Eric Kelcher, I took that school also to get started on my licensing.  Since they didn't make us take a written test, CCS will probably make you do that before you can start racing, but Eric can tell you more.   8)
