Are we going to have the transponders for the first round at Black Hawk? is this truth or myth.... :-X
I thought I read a post from Tiff that said the MW region was going to get implemented in June or July.
According to my 2003 renewal application "the current plan is to have all events electronically scored by the 1st of July."
Of course when I consider that last year I didn't even receive a hard copy of my license and that the web site is only updated to September and that the mailer's were late I think you need to mutiply CCS deadline dates by a certain multiplier that I have not determined yet.
They are going to take the increase in race fee's at the first race to cover the cost of the transponders! ;D
I think this is the multiplier you are looking for:

Bonus points for anyone who knows what the formula is also used for :)

Sheesh, you make it too easy...
Heisenberg's (position-momentum) Uncertainty Principle in quantum mechanics.
If you are not being scored by transponders ..... you shouldn't be paying for transponders. You are paying for a service not provided. That is not right.
You should not pay for transponders until they are provided in June, July or whenever. I don't care what they cost CCS. No sevice, no payment. That is bullsh*t if that's what they are going to do.
CCS reply? Are the racers in this region going to pay for a service they don't receive?
Hell, everybody knows that. ;D
Hey all,
talked with Bill Ritger last night. He just got back from the big pow-wow in Ft Worth. Anyhow, he said that it is the plan for CCS to have the transponders ready to go for us in the Midwest by the first race. Whether all of the logistics will be in place for that to happen is another question. Let's hope it all falls into place.
Cool....
Thanks for the update!
Dawn ;)
Well I may be the monkey wrench in Blackhawk having transponders by the first race.
I am marrying Tiffiney on April 6 and as such she will not be able to attend. Tiffiney is being escorted down the aisle by Kevin, as her father passed away last year.
So this leaves a possible problem in getting the track set up and operators trained for transponders with "CCS" being unable to attend; I am sorry. Don't blame Kevin or Tiffiney or "CCS" for lack of transponders.
OK - We'll just blame you!
Just teasing! ;)
Dawn :)
Eric, if you don't get your butt to work we WILL have transponers at Blackhawk...catch my drift?
:o
(Sorry, Eric. Just take your pants off now and give them to the WOMAN. Be done with it.... :o)

Gosh Dave....
Whatever do you mean ???
Dawn ;)
You people work for a race organization and you get married during the season?? :o ???
What the h*ll is that all about? Nobody, nobody should get married during the race season!! :P
But .... congrats anyway. ;D ;D ;D
Well congats to the newly weds.Hope to see the transponders up and running at round one!
Believe me, nobody knows more than me what a nightmare it is to get married during the season--especially on a Blackhawk weekend!!! But, Dallas is apparently a very hard city to get dates in for weddings (at the best places) and April 6th was the first and only date available until late fall. I guess Eric thinks that if we don't hurry I'll change my mind...
;D
WHy not get married at the track? ;D
QuoteWHy not get married at the track? ;D
Yeah! My thought exactly, but this whole....
"...it will be too cold"
"...our families live in Texas"
yada, yada, yada. I bet we could really throw them a good wedding party.
Dawn :)
Haha...you know, I bet I've had about 20 of you guys tell me to get married at Blackhawk! True, though, it's how Dawn told it...something about having family around is important to Eric...
;)
Tell you what, though, Road America will be an awesome party!!!
