Thanks to CCS and MARRC for an excellent event. Everything seemed to run pretty smoothly. Special thanks to Eric K & crew for the air fence and the cornerworkers for toughing it out through the heat. It was HOT!
As a MARRC cornerworker, you are very welcome, and a thank you to you for the "thank you". I have to say that this weekend was tough out there but at this event numerous racers took the time to say "thank you". You would be surprised how far a simple "thank you" will go. We try our hardest out there to make things run safely and smoothly, and when something occurs we try our hardest to hand over a "clear and green" course as soon as possible.
I have to agree as well..
there were several challenges that made this weekend difficult on several fronts.
There is something amazing about a group of people who will weekend in and weekend out come to Summit Point and volunteer their time for the love of the sport...
Just for those that were wondering...we went thru 7 cases of water and 7 cases of sport drink...
(and two cases of red bull..heh heh)
