Title: Will It BLOW UP?
Post by: grasshopper on May 23, 2006, 10:39:52 AM
Am I going to commit suicide doing a track day at Road America on my SV?

Any gearing recommendations? Smallest rear and biggest front sprockets rite?

:wah:

If your SV is stock, you shouldn't blow it up.  If that thing can haul Paul's rear around and live to tell the tale, you should be fine.

Stock gearing should be fine.

Stock bore, but other goodies attached to the breathing/fuel mechanism, also some lift and duration.

I'm pretty sure I have a 16 front and a 44 rear. We'll gear tall and curse and swear like a sailor as Jonhy hamfist throttle monster smokes me going down the front straight on his Gixxer 1000 and parks it into turn 1 and I try to real him back in between 5 and 12.

Oh god I am going to kill myself
