For those who don't know, Highside is a novel about club racing. The first chapter can be read online at www.chrisonwiler.com (http://www.chrisonwiler.com)
I've got to ask....how "true" to your life is the story? It had my pulse rate up...I was actually sweating!

Translation: If this one was in Oprah's Book Club, they would have to change the catagory from Fiction to Non-fiction, providing the names were changed to indict the guilty!
Hey K-3 you should start a bus tour of the locations from the book!! LOL!!
hmmmm some of the fictional racers in the book sound a lot like some CCS racers/forum members. anyone care to "come out" and admit it? :lmao:

If it weren't so danged expensive I'd tell you to set something up at Road A for the AMA weekend...
Actually, I'll be there with Lithium, and have books for sale at their pit area.. Now if people buy them is another story. People don't seem to read for leasure any more.
It's a Robert Duvall line from Lonesome Dove. Seemed to fit the occasion.
"Some day this war's gonna end."
Uh.... :ahhh: That book went out earlier today, thanks to my lovely wife. I've been just about living at the track this month, and somehow that order ended up in the folder with the bills. Laura was writing checks when she found the order, so she took care of it for me. I was informed of this over dinner tonight when I got back from Autobahn.
I guess "I've been having too much fun lately to send your book" is a pretty lame excuse.... :spank:
