will an older R6 fuel pump work? I have a fuel pump from an older R6 just sitting around. Not sure of the year, I think it's an 02...

I don't think a 02 r6 pump will do it. A 03....maybe. The replacement pump for the 03 r6 is the same part # as the 04 R1 pump but the stock pump for the r6 is one # off (same for the 02-03 r1). So I don't even know if the 03 would do it. How frustrating
Is yours tall and white?

Pb sorry to get off the subject but did you see the pictures of your crash one of the groups taking photos has a bunch or pictures of your crash i didnt realize it was so bad after seeing the pics i think the bike faired pritty well.
hope you find a pump
