Its just a forum member rating system where as the members can give positive or negative "points" based off their posts.

Some site that use similar systems have it set up to automatically suspend a users account for reaching so many negative points. Honestly I think it shouldnt be used for this since it has too muc potential for abuse. Here it seems like its just for S&G's

Think of it this way, if someone says something that said what you would have siad, or that you would give kudos to; go ahead and hit 'em with an applaud. If someone says something so utterly stupid that they ought to be smacked upside the head, hit 'em with a smite.

BTW, it's all anonymous, but you can only hit the same individual once per hour. ;D

They are meaningless right now, but well, most people are enjoying them. LOL...
