Title: Highside at Road America!
Post by: K3 Chris Onwiler on April 20, 2006, 03:22:01 AM
;D  That is, I'll be at Road America SELLING Highside, the racing novel.  Look for me buzzing around on my pit scooter with a milk crate full of books on the back!

And I recommend purchasing one.

I don't have a huge attention span to sit down and read a lot of books, but I took the time and read "Highside".

Personally, I really enjoyed it a whole lot.  I thought I knew where it was going, but I was reall surprised where it took me.  Very good read.  Worth the time...and, monitarily, it's cheap.

Buy the BOOK!

Well, I sold a double handful at Road America, which was good!  This gave me enough $$$ to order another hundred from the publisher, because I was running low.  In all, somewhere around 300 copies have been sold so far.  Doesn't seem like much, but I guess that's 300 more than if I hadn't written it!

Chris,

Just picked up my leathers the other day from Alexa and she recommended your Highside book to me.  I've been hearing about it all over the Forum and I look forward to reading it.

I was scooting around the pits on my ex-Safety First Suzuki Razz scooter all weekend.  I pitted with Rosno and was wrenching on a ZX10 shared by my buddy Bart Schuster and the one and only Monte Nichols.  Sorry I missed you Jesse.  That line under your post is just killing me, though.... :'( :'( :'(
