Title: RA question
Post by: pnther15 on April 17, 2006, 08:09:42 PM
Looks like I'll be driving through the night on Wed. and was planning on getting some rest on thursday (and finalizing some bike parts)....my question is can we camp at the track Thursday night so we're all setup on Friday morning, or do we have to go some where else?  I'll be toting about 50ft, so the less driving the better.  Also, can we get our transponders, ect. at the track on Thursday?  I'm in practice group 1 so the less to do on Friday, the better.  Thanks guys!

yes you can camp Thursday night. You need to purchase camping passes from the 4 mile merchant (contact them through RA). Registration is open 6-8 at the track Thursday night

Gosh Dave that looks like a HUGE hassle. Driving all night, trying to get some sleep, messing with transponders, and then wrenching!...! Only to race in the cold rain?
If I were you, I'd just stay home. Seriously, it's supposed to be nice around here this weekend. Maybe a trip to the KC Zoo?                   -Snack

ya John, riding all night in a 33 foot RV, while my crew chief drives (Rich and I watching movies in the back)...  I just want the C.C. to get some sleep before he finishes the bike (rivit's the chain and some stickers).  (I'll probably still be asleep...)  This trip should be pretty rough....  I think the rv's heater should keep us comfy though...
I hope you are well rested....I don't want any excuses...  Oh don't worry, I've already ordered my VP, and we fixed the 'cutting out' issue....   :P

it's illegal to ride in the back of your 'pimp' trailer....but that only concerns me when it involves John getting rest....

No, nothing I will do, or anything else...

Let's just say you better have some 100db noise reducing earplugs when you turn off the lights...  ;)
