Title: highside
Post by: Rick Beggs on April 03, 2006, 07:56:33 PM
Just finished reading it, great book, will be recommending it to everyone I know.  It is a real good look at racing, from the inside, it made me feel all of the emotions I remember from the first time I raced, and the ones I feel again at the first race of each weekend, it was great. only tech mistake I found is the ex came with 520 chain, the rest was perfect, and I always find the mistakes, Chris Onwiler, you are a great writer, How close to the truth is this story, or is it mostly fiction, I recognized a few characters. again, great job

I'm on my third time around with the book... and loving every page as I'm currently building my first race bike.  It's amazing how much of it I can relate to my situation even though I've yet to race a single race.  Chris, you have some how created a story to fit every biginner's situation in some way!

Thanks guys!  Glad you liked it!

As to how much of it was true, the Statute of Limitations has yet to expire.  No comment! ;D
