Does anyone know if CCS/ASRA are considering adding this track to the SW Region? I'm sure if theyb did they would make it double points, at least I would hope. AMA will be racing there in June. I think they are trying for World Superbike/Supersport and possibly Moto GP. Why not CCS. 40 ' wide track with runoffs for World Superbike and Moto GP. WOW this would be fun and exciting.

Check out the 3d track tour, you can see the contour changes in the turns.
I think the price of renting the track is pretty high. What are the travel considerations for racers in the SW region?
I see Half a day is $100 and Full Day is $150. Not sure about lodging and such. There site didn't show any accomadations as of yet.
Lots of accomodations in Salt Lake, 30 minutes east.
I think they have their own series. Wouldn't be wise to try to crack someone's business with yours. Not to mention that racers are poor. How are you going to attract racer to eight events at one track when they only have money for four.
I'm sure they considered it, but....
Some tracks and programs have put events on at facilities one-hundred miles apart on the same weekend. Sometimes they have scheduled events back to back. Meaning, on one weekend, one organization races, then the next weekend the other one does. Kind of messes up the market a bit.
USGPRU is going there for their final this year.
Looks awesome.
Yeah but USGPRU doesn't actually pay the bills like track rental when they're always using someone elses dates. It's a totally different thing when you have to pay for it all.
Well, yes, of course.
Miller wants $15k a day for rental. No way the RRSW (the new SW affiliate) could make that work. MRA, which is 3 times the size of RRSW can't even afford to go there. I'm guessing they've got a sweet deal setup for their local series, which I believe is being run by track management so they don't have a high rental fee. (kinda like my series, although my track is affordable)
Yep. I'm still trying to figure out how we're going to afford it.
I can't believe that's an Alan Wilson track It just looks soooooo diferent from the others ::)
