11:00 am to 1:00 pm central. (Thanks for the heads up H!)
I wrote Speed TV a email about their petition when I first saw it. I asked them why they are cutting out roadracing and they would be making a huge market mistake if they took all of it out, maybe it helped. More people should write, not just sign the petition, that gets their attention more. ;D
BTW, I gave them the links to the threads from both boards on the petition and what everyone was saying about it, I even sent the email to the head of their programming.
The Suzuki cup is also on at 12:30 on Fox Sports, For us yoopers at least..

refresh our memories about their petition? what petition?

NOOOooooo! Don't get this thing started again!
I didn't want to point this out, but the petition had absolutely not bearing on the WSBK this w/e. It's been SPEED's plan all along to air the taped races. We can kiss good-bye forever their previous practice of airing it on Sunday afternoon and again SUnday night.
I love watching road racing, but we have to face the facts. SPEED is a business. The highest rated motocycle programs on SPEED don't even match the lowest rated other programs (like that auction show or Pinks) much less the lowest rated NASCAR/BUSCH/Craftsman related programs.
Look at the stands for the recent Daytona 500. Look at the stands for next weekends 200. You'll see an indication of what I mean.
Which is why I'd like to see the TV rights for this stuff go to OLN, ESPN, or another network that has shown some motorsports ability, yet doesn't have the SPEED / FOX ties to NASCAR and a seemingly limitless stomach for regurgitating info from 1 race for a week or more..
Considering that they don't even have to film the races themselves in the case of GP and WSBK, there shouldn't even be any production costs. They'd have to come up with a crew to do the AMA stuff, but there's got to be money to be made if SPEED's still covering it.
Both WSB races were awesome. That was some great racing! Makes me very excited for the season.
It was so cool, good races, I recorded the whole thing. ;D
