Title: Indy Dealer Show Review
Post by: motobenco on February 21, 2006, 07:38:19 AM
I just wanted to say thanks for hospitality, especially the Micron / Hyperpro / Corona booth.  Oakley for throwing a great party. The Scarlett Garter Senior Bingo Club for the warm fuzzy feeling. I also wanted to make the announcement that we will be riding Kymco's Honda Replica RR this year due to a new deal inked at the show.  The new bike that looks just like a Honda but doesn't act like one.  We'll have to make up the performance side with superior riding skills.  I also need to thank the Indy Police Department for protecting us from a bunch of flag waving protestors at the Tucker Rocky party.  Other notable mentions, Danielle at the RAM for the shots, Sammy the taxi driver, Denny's for the salmonella, the cleaning crew at the Amerisuites, Dano for using up all the cream and sugar, Mike Metzger for the dance lessons, the girl I meet at the Smith optics booth (I lost your number and forgot your name but if you read this give me a call).   Oh yeah, big thanks to Monster Energy without you I'd still be sleeping.

I have to say the Scarlett Garter Bingo Club was a blast.....The two idiots(wink~wink) that took the checkerd flag and did the victory lap - well what can I say, at least they didn't get an escourted ride to the clink....I would like to say that Jeremy McGrath pissed me off something fierce, Not only did he have the balls to cut in front of me while we were waiting to order our lunch but he held the line up for about 10 min. I don't care how many AMA national championships you have, you still have to stand in line like the rest of us........Oh the tricicle(sp) races were great, we found out two things - with two people on one three wheeler - entering a corner too fast while trying to turn only ends in a highside and that Dano,Benny and myself shoudn't enter a team challange together... Also the Old Spaghetti Factory still owes us our Wonder Bread (crustless).

Seriously, I would like to thank my crew(PBI) for everything as usual-without them none of this would have been possible(especially Billy for keeping me from sleepwalking into the pool),Doug & Scott @ Micron for their hospitality(and free beer),Super Dave for everything he is,has and is going to do(Dave is opening up oppertunities for me that I didn't have available to me just a couple months ago....), Benny for telling those girls that I was the 2005 AMA Horizion Award winner and being a bad influence on me..And Last but not least everyone that partook in the after hours bingo festivities....(Edgar and Tommy - you guys missed out)......Oh yeah and Dano for being a sally on the drinking(who cares if you got work the next day - gosh)

Dave,
If you can keep up with the conversation its best not to join in at all.

The question was to Rob.
Who are your riders?

Who will the "riders" be for lithium?

OK let me re-fraze the question

who are the racers for lithium that are able to win a club or national race (not AMA)?

I may be interested in racing again, for lithium if thay can pay my salary $150,000.00 (this is for the full year of 2006.

Hey Super Dave I talked to Rod today and your first shipment of goods were shipped to you and billed to me for some unknown reason. Rod said something like three or four sets of tires and a new R6. Got to love those Iowa City Motorsports Guys. ???
