a party Friday evening the weekend of CCS/ASRA Road America, would you be likely to attend? (The shop is just over an hour away from the track)

Shop Grand Opening/Spyder 10th Anniversary bash, so it would not do to have it at the track. I'm just trying to find a date where everyone might be close and willing to visit for a party. Apparently, the CCS folk are party poopers. :o

No margarita ball for y'all. I'll just invite Gordy over and he can have it to himself. ;) ;D

Not that we are party poopers (don't recall ever pooping at a party), but after a day of racing, get everything packed up, then drive an hour, enjoy party, drive an hour back and then get up early and race the next day. It is just too much on a race weekend.

How many tires would 2 hours of diesel fuel buy .....

That's why I'm asking. No sense throwing a bash everyone is too tired to attend. Just kind of figured there would be folk who live out of town that might be up for it. If not, it's all good. Had the shop been ready last weekend, I would have had it on Sunday afternoon for those attending the IMS, but alas, no pooper to poop in. ;) Bathroom is now finished and the new toilet is installed.

If anyone has a suggestion for a better date, I'm willing to consider it.

A lot of guys leave as soon as the weekend is over because they have extended travel time. :-/
