Title: Gygax ROCKS!
Post by: K3 Chris Onwiler on February 01, 2006, 02:48:27 AM
I bought Dave's Gixxer last night!  What a sweet deal.  I ALMOST RAN OUT TO ROOM TO CARRY ALL THE EXTRA STUFF!
Thanks Dave!  You rule!

Well, he crashed it enough that there was bound to be a trailer load of extras...   :P

Congrats on the new bike.  And I'd think you guys should be somewhat close to the same suspension spring requirements, so that would be an added bonus.

So yesterday I worked my shift, drove 400 miles round-trip, sold one bike, and bought another.
Then when I got home, I had to unload everything.  Well, I was really worn out, and when the alarm went off this morning I said NO WAY.  So I screwed around on the internet untill my boss got to work, called in sick, and went back to bed.  I'm lucky enough to be able to eat lunch at my mom's house every day, so I sent Mom an e mail telling her I wouldn't be there today.  Below is her reply....

Cure for Gixxer Flu
1. Get some rest.
2. Go to garage.
3. Sit on Gixxer.
4. Sort through parts and display them to advantage.
5. Stare at the whole scene.
6. Murmur "Precious" a number of times.
Rate of cure--100%
Enjoy the Gixxer Day.
Love,
Mom

Moms.  Ya gotta love 'em! ;)

A Gixxer day!  Man, that just sounds like the closest thing to heaven on earth. :)
"Have a nice day, sir."
"Hell, I'm havin' a GIXXER day!"

LOL; unfortunately, it's my other scooter that earned me the nick name "Tumbleweed".  And there's bits and pieces of it scattered throughout the corners of our favorite Midwest tracks.

Glad you like it Chris; don't let your boss read the posts.  He'll be over to pick you up!   ;D

Actually broke the heal, ankle, and leg.  I don't think I ever apologized for getting in your way like that.   ;D  But, I am back to walking now.  I will see you out there this spring.
