Anyone still running an F3? I'm going to start off on this bike and could use some help on gearingand other stuff that I might forget, until I get to the track. Someone told me that the fork tubes should be 2 inches off the triple tree. So I need some help on this stuff.
Not many F3's racing at all anymore. Few F4's really.
Is someone telling you to drop the nose of the bike so that 2" of the fork tube is showing? If so, I don't remember that as what was done to make a bike go fast.
Was this a track day bike before?
I raced an F2 extensively... not sure how related the front ends were, but I ran -7mm from stock height on the front, that much I do remember.
I also relocated the clipons under the triple clamp, but that's a rider preference thing. I couldn't get comfortable with them on top.
