Title: Subframe modification or replacement

In the rule book under the superbike section it is stated that the frame must be from a production street motorcycle. Does this mean that I cannot make my own subframe?

The main frame must be from a street legal motorccycle.
Similar to Clip-ons and foot pegs the subframe can be modified, changed, swapped, aftermmarket replacement etc
