It's good. More of a fan mag than a racer mag. I like that it exists. At least it says something about the interest in road racing.
I like to look at the pictures ;D
It's okay. It's a breezy magazine (I believe the trade term). Even with pics, none of the articles is longer than 3 pages.
It's great. Something this sport has needed for a long time. It personifies the sport. there are really people on those bikes and they have lives, personalities just like the rest of us.
Fans want to know about the racers not just the machines. NASCAR has done this for many years. It's a big part of their continuos growth.
Yes. Since it is more about the pesonalities than the racing, the girlfriend really likes it too.
So now that everyone has admitted they like it......SUBSCRIBE so it doesn`t die like so many other things related to our sport!!!
where can i buy it

+1 , as a racer I personally don't care for it, but it is very good for the sport. I love the tech stuff and pretty much everything in RRW, racer x is more on the "fru-fru" side :)
Like it and subscribe too it. Since the cover motard and dirttrack on occation too it's even better than just a roadrace-centric publication. That being said, I also have a sub to RRW.

If you want a broad spectrum of race coverage, it's hard to beat Cycle News. A nice weekly fix...
We get RRW, Cycle World, Motorcyclist, Mini Moto, Road Racer X, probably some other ones too. I read them all...Bill try to get your girlfriend to read RRW, I read Road Racer X only but now when RRW gets here Vic and I run to the box to see who can get it first.

Read it? It's got nice shiny close up pics of machines I can only fantasize about at this point in my incarnation.

Yeah, she got me subscriptions to most of the bike mags and a few car mags for Christmas. For some reason, she only reads the RRW issues that have Ben Bostrom on the cover. ??? ;D
PS - I can't wait to race in some of Vic's classes this year!
Huh - well those are some surprising endorsements for the mag - guess I figured racers (as opposed to poseurs, or wannabes) would not give it much of a look, since it appears to me more like what you all are saying it is - nice pix, profiles, etc, aimed more at non racers.
Reason for asking is I just got a subscription card int he mail for it - $14.95/year. Probably cuz I just subscribed to Cycle World - which is about a 20 minute read, cover to cover.
very cool article about Jeff Wood wining many FUSA championships and his stellar carrer. However the photographer at Daytona in the garage got my garage area and you cant see the Arclite bikes at all.. better for me to be lucky than good i guess. Cool article nontheless.
Bill thats because B Boz is a hottie, when I talk about him to my friends outside of the racing world they are like WHO? I think it takes a special girl to like him, (AKA one who knows about racing) I would really like to maybe go out and catch dinner with you and your other half sometime, Vic is dying to bench race...do you have a normal email addy? Tried to add you on yahoo and nothing?? Anyway tell her that there are always pics of B Boz in RRW you just gotta look for them. That will get her to read them.
PS Vic is excited about racing this year as well, since I am going to this year as well it should be quite an experience.

I can read that when I visit my parents. And usually do :) Their online news, along with superbikeplanet, motorcycledaily, and crash.net keep me pretty well informed on 'hard' news reporting for racing and the industry.
Roadracer X - Scene mag
Roadracing World - Tech, hardcore mag
Subscribe to both. Best of both worlds. Both great mags.

Now you're talking. RRW = nutritious steak dinner, RRX = mouthwatering desert.
