I'm new to CCS this year and wanted to ask if there are normally Chapel Services at the tracks on Sunday. I've raced with WERA for 3 years and they do have services every Sunday, and based on which track you're at, different people may be in charge. I'm hoping CCS is similar in this respect. Thanks for any info you can give, and be gentle with me as you go flying past me at the track. :)
Yes they do too, I've only seen them at Blackhawk, but at Gingerman, you can go to the local church because on Sundays there, the racing shuts down from 10:00 am until 12:00pm for their church services. ;D
If you're ever at Summit Point there are chapel services provided by the MARRC members Tom and Carol Moyer at the Apple Chapel.

Good ole' Funny Hat Tom! They're great folks. I'll be racing Southeastern region but may venture up to Slippery Point. Any word on services at VIR, CMP or Barber? Thanks, John
Yea John.. as far as I can remember, about every track/round does them in the SE. I know VIR and RRR, and I'm pretty sure at Barber and Jennings.
Chapel/fellowship services are held at all SE & MA events. Service leaders vary depending on the venue. Our intrepid computer operators, Mitch & Amber Smith often conduct services if no other local talent.
It's not a regular part of the CCS midwest program.
Not a bad idea though. MRO (Motor Racing Outrach) provides chaplains for the AMA and WERA Nationals.
ccs florida has services every race weekend also if your ever down in this neck of the woods :)
Thank you all for the good news. I look forward to meeting you all at the track. I'll be easy to find 18' black trailer with a 6' tall t-shirt on the side! Please come by and say hello. :)
