I got a check from the AMA National at Road America.
So I know they can send out checks.
To qualify for the regional stuff you would have had to have purchased a qualifying amount of fuel from the designated VP contingency dealer. In the midwest it was Lithium for 2005.
Yes, I am a VP vendor in the Mid-Atlantic region and several of my customers and myself recieved checks. It takes a while I was told because the results are sent to VP HQ in Texas than they are forwarded to your regional distributer to sort through them. Also don't forget there is a requirement to purchase at least 10 gallons to be eliglble.
VP Texas contacted me just prior to the holidays. Apparently our results were sent to the Terre Haute office and sat there until they were finally sent to Texas in December. I confirmed results and we should be seeing checks any day. I'll call to confirm and post the results of the call here.

I never recieved a dime during my am year. I should have recieved a few hundred. So, I stopped listing them as a sponsor and bought for cost from my mechanic. Now that I'm on a newer bike, I'm just going to run plain 'ole gas for now. :-/
Yes we will be the dealer again for 2006. Everyone who purchases at least 10 gallons of fuel from us on any given weekend gets approved for contingency.
Had one event but where I thought it would pay but haven't seen anything. And I bought 45 gallons that weekend I think (Rob). But when I looked back there were only 9 racers showing on the postings. Could have sworn I couldn't like 13 at the grid that day.
But they pay 1st, 5th and 10th so it is different from the other contingencies and I am likely mistaken, wrong, thinking about somehting else, or forgot the right paperwork that day.
I spoke with Cheryl at VP today. She said she just signed checks today. She promised they would go out by next week. Info was being shuffled between their Terre Haut office and Texas and delays resulted.
I`ll say it takes a while!!! :o I just got ONE $ 25 check and it says it`s for RA 4/24/05!!!!! Where`s the rest of the year?! At this rate I`ll be paid up for 05 by RA in 07!!
