I'd like to take a second to thank Kevin Elliott for making the Midwest banquet possible this year.

One of the things I didn't realize until I discussed it with Kevin at the banquet, is that Clear Channel held no obligation to do ANYTHING past the last race of the season.

The coordination of this banquet and bringing it to reality was the work of a company which wasn't really even formed yet, has no contract, and was coordinated at Kevin's complete personal risk.

Many people don't realize how close we came to not having a banquet. I appreciate you pulling this together for us...

I've been trying to come up with the right words to express how much the banquet meant to me, but I can't. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the banquet quite memorable! You know what I'm talking about! And thanks to Kevin for making this possible!

How could I not like it, we both got awards. Ok that's stretching it calling the potato head an award but.....

Yours could be labeled as 2 awards in one though, it could also be the "on the gas" award as well! ;) ;D
