Let's hear your banquet stories....
;D
Did you know that after the Lake Lawn Security Guard comes by your room at 2:30am and tells you to get the 25 noisy people out of your room and hallway, that he follows it up 45 minutes later with representatives from local law enforcement organizations ?
Not that I have any knowledge of this ever happening to any CCS people! ::)
Oh my goodness........!
:o
And a tip to anyone having future after hours parties at Lake Lawn (if we're allowed back!).... it's good to have a ground level room. That's so that if you happen to get a late night knock on the door, you can have you're 25 closest friends scurry out the door onto the patio and into Edgar and Tommy's room next door! ;)
The upstairs rooms all had balconies so it would work there also..........
Did someone get the number of the truck that hit me? I think it might have been a beer truck....
Lightweight! ;D
We had a post-banquet team meeting at the Vegas Club, two exits down. Coincidentally, there were several 'umbrella girls' there seeking input from the patrons...or at least that's the explanation I got; never having been there before ;D
I heard the knocking, sounded like it was right below us, was that the cops or someone trying to get in the room, I'm confused. I had a great time though.
The lady who checked us in at the Lodge was on a PMS trip or something, she was rude, she told us that the each person has to pay $89.00 to stay in the room, when we told her we were with the CCS block, she rolled her eyes and said real rudely, "Yes, I realize that now".
What did security there think, that after the banquet we all just go right to bed?? We should find a lodge next year that can keep their bar open later too.
Ed made Barb cry, Ricky made Ed cry, and I made Laurel cry. ;D
I think it was the most fun I've had at a banquet. Looks like I left at a good time too... ;D
Ed started it, but seeing everyone on their feet applauding made me cry more! It was so wonderful! You guys are the best, and I can't imagine my life without you!!!!
Let's see some of the Pics!!! ;D Wait, as long as I'm not in them.... 8) Was a blast, that morning was like the old Benny Hill Show, with the cops and security chasing everyone room to room! LOL!!
All I can say is those Michelin boys like to ride hard and play hard ;D
