Title: Question for the MW region peeps?
Post by: Hyperdyne_Racing on December 09, 2005, 07:08:12 AM
What is the typical weather for Road Atlanta round.. I just can;t justify making that trip to race in the snow.  I did that once, never again.

If you are talking about Road America, from what I remember for the April event, we had nice weather (high of above 55) once in the last 5 years. I would say the odds are against it.

But it is one of those tracks you gotta ride at least once. The Carousel is my favorite corner ever!!!

We refer to it as "Road A Weather". Generally: drizzling, 42 degrees for the high, and just to spice stuff up, a occasional sprinkling of flurries.  ;D

There was one gorgeous weekend one year, mid 60's, sunny, ah yes, spingtime in Wisconsin.

Whoops.. I have Hotlanta on the mind right now considering the pounding of snow we got last night...

Understand that it's always a shot in the dark, would jut make more snese to try and get it later.  But then again that would be more $$$ and less chance of getting a time.
