Fantastic...so Kevin you will have to stay in town for a few days after RRR in June to play with your newest future scorer or Roadracer if her Daddy has anything to do with it. He is saving that Thunderbike for a reason. She should be here around the 13th of June. Can't wait to see you!!
P.S. no confirmation yet on if she is a she or a he.

Only ONE race at Roebling?  Noooooooooooooooooooo  ???

*&^%&^%$ !!!

I suppose this is due to the, eh-hem, "repaving" ?

I hope I don't see the exact same ruts, divots and ripples after THIS repave.

There is only one question to be asked at this point...

Which Blakhawk date will be hosting the Wegman? :D

That is entirely up to Gordy. Last year, he booked a weekend where no other racing was supposed to be happening, and then the AMA did VIR the date he announced. I'm sure he's going to wait until all schedules are finalized.

Margarita ball! Woohoo! ;) ;D

Is there a reason the ROC is not listed in any series or is it just a given?

Nothing is a given.  I don't have an answer.

How much do you want to bet that Blackhawk weekend has manufacturer money?

Not that we'll be at either so soon after the baby comes, but my choice hands down is RA.

Whats with daytona being dbl points? Is that the only way you can get people to race there...

Daytona used to be double points like in 02 I think. They took it away because regions had more other dates. Actually we are happy it is back to being double points

It won't be a hard choice for me...I would much rather gain the knowledge and experience that the  AMA round has to offer. So in other words I will be racing RA(and hopefully stayng upright and finishing this year). But it will suck if there is going to be a chance of making contingency money at a local race to help pay for the weekend , instead of investing so much into an AMA round and not seeing any compensation...

Not a tough choice for me either. Don't race AMA but I'll be there to watch the best! Besides - knowing that I'm not going to crash while at the track is comforting!  ;D

AS I feared, as soon as Ryan posted, there was a call from Blackhawk....June is now 10-11 and August is the 19-20th...can't win, hold trying the schedule to make sure nothing changes and then BAM..it changes anyway....LOL

Anyway, that helps the Rd Am conflict for you.

Hey, thanks Kevin...I made the change on the first page of this post...

If your web people can make the change too on the ccsracing.net site...that would be great too...

Should help getting workers for BFR and Road Am that weekend too.  May have been a tough decision for a lot of people!

Theres a problem thats gonna be big. I think Bill and Claudia also help run the AMA Road America cornerworkers too. I know that many of the long time workers have done AMA races at RA every year.

Ok, which schedule is right, the one i got in the mail, or the one i found on line?
also, is there a team owner program?
preferably with id cards that get us into the track, bypassing the normal track entry snafu.
Title: Re: 2006 Schedule - really, and revised...
Post by: Eric Kelcher on December 14, 2005, 05:37:34 PM
The schedule posted here is current.

There will be a Team Owner Program for 2006
Gate entry will most likely still require stopping at registration for signing releases, as even I have had to sign weekend release before entry to track each weekend.
